Kidney disease screening camp
PANAJI: On the occasion of World Kidney Week, Vision Hospital in association with Dr Amol Mahaldar (nephrologist) are organising a kidney disease screening camp on March 7, between 9 am to 1 pm. Patients with a history of kidney ailment in the past, kidney ailments in family, those with diabetes, those who are overweight and those who have swelling of feet, frequency of urine at night and uncontrolled BP should attend the camp.
Limited registrations are available and patients are requested to take prior appointments by calling Vision Hospital. A registration fee is also applicable. Patients should report 8 hours fasting and will be tested for serum creatinine, fasting blood sugar and urine analysis. Patients height, weight, BMI and BP will be checked and Dr Mahaldar will be offering consultation to all registered patients.
