Distributes uniforms at Nageshi schools

Governor Mridula Sinha has emphasized the importance of imparting education of humanity and has appealed to educational institutions to imbibe it among students.
“Changes are taking place in society and hence, there is a need to preserve the moral values of humanity,” said Sinha, while speaking at a function to distribute uniforms at the Sanjeevan Aroghyadham and Higher Secondary School at Nageshi.
PWD Minister Sudin Dhavalikar, chairman of Sanjeevan Dr Asha Sanvardekar, Mamta Badami and Awdhut Kamat were present on the occasion.
Sanjeevan has home nursing higher secondary and also medical treatment for senior citizens is given here.
“Changes are taking place in society, but family and human related problems will remain the same. Hence, we need to address these problems with humanity,” she said.
“While quality of education is vital, we also should teach humanity to students. We don’t want just the merit certificates to earn salaries, but we should also imbibe humanity through our education,” said the Governor.
She opined that three generation should stay together. “The children who stay with their grandparents learn many good things of families and societies.
Speaking on the occasion, Dhavalikar said he would always support the good cause of Sanjeevan. “I request the Governor to help this institution by giving some land from the comunidade to expand this building, so that more people can take benefit from these services,” he said.
