Lucky escape for two as car goes off bypass at Galgibaga

According to sources, a man from Karnataka was driving a car towards Karwar, when he reportedly dozed off and lost the control of the car. The vehicle went off the highway and fell into the bushes.

Both the driver and the passenger escaped without major injuries.

Onlookers who witnessed the incident ran to their rescue and after some difficulty, managed to pull out both occupants from the vehicle.

Both occupants who were badly shaken following the mishap were taken to the Canacona Community Health Centre (CHC) and given first-aid, before being discharged, sources added.
