Police Inspector Arun Gawas Desai has taken charge of the Maina Curtorim police station.
He succeeded Ravi Desai, who retired from service on June 30.
The BJP Curtorim Mandal led by the party ST Leader Anthony Barbosa and Dr Sneha Bhagwat visited the police station to welcome the newly appointed PI.
Also present were Nilkanth Ekawade, Tarkeshwar Naik, former Sarpanch and panch member Minguelina D’Souza, Panch member Manuel Rodrigues, Mehboob Makandar, Vincy Quadros, Babita Borkar and Taj Makandar.
