A 40-year-old man from Dabolim died after falling off the third floor of a building at Dabolim on Monday evening.
It was unclear if the deceased, Pradeep Bhuvad, accidentally fell off the building or if it was a case of suicide.
According to sources, Bhuvad had been living in the flat for the last two years.
"He was staying alone in the flat and his sister, who is the flat owner, is in Dubai. He had been living for several years at New Vaddem near Ganapati temple and had shifted to the flat around two years ago. The deceased was working in a hotel at Bambolim," said the source.
Meanwhile, police sources suspect it to be a case of suicide.
"As of now, we have sent the body for post-mortem to ascertain the cause of his death. We have carried out the panchanama and we are carrying out further investigation," said the source.
Vasco PSI Ganesh Matondkar is carrying out further investigation under the supervision of PI Kapil Nayak.
