Notorious criminal Tarzan Parsekar and Sagar Patil are charged with assaulting a man and his minor son.
The Anjuna police said that the assault on Thursday was in retaliation for complaining to a local MLA regarding Tarzan’s involvement in the 2022 assault on Ravi Shirodkar. Both accused are currently absconding.
“When the complainant reached a Football Training at Nagoa to pick up his son, Tarzan Parsekar and Sagar Patil assaulted both victims and also threatened the complainant with dire consequences. The assault was an act of revenge because the complainant had approached the MLA complaining against Tarzan in the assault on Ravi Shirodkar then,” Deputy Superintendent of Police (Anjuna) Jivba Dalvi said.
A case under various sections of IPC and Goa Children’s Act has been registered against both the accused.
