Challenging his colleagues and political opposition alike to stop him from developing the entire Mormugao Taluka, Panchayats Minister Mauvin Godinho said there had not been much development in the taluka, especially in his adjoining constituencies.
"I have seen that nothing has been done in my adjoining constituencies and I will do and show it the next time and it is my challenge to develop the entire Mormugao taluka."
"Why should I keep silent because people cannot take up development works for the last five years,” asked Godinho during a news conference.
“I will not stay silent anymore, and I will develop all areas of this taluka and show what development is all about. While you will see me in Dabolim only till elections, you will see me everywhere else next time and nobody will be able to stop me.”
