Minor boy kidnapped from Mangor Hill

VASCO:

Vasco police have registered a case of kidnapping after a 16-year-old boy was allegedly abducted from Mangor Hill on Saturday evening.

The complaint was filed by the mother who reported that her minor son was kidnapped from her lawful guardianship by an unknown person at around 4 pm on May 24.

Acting on the complaint, police registered an offence under Section 137 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), 2023, and Section 8 of the Goa Children’s Act.

The investigation is being conducted by PSI Mayur K. Sawant of Vasco Police Station under the supervision of PI Vaibhav Naik and the guidance of Mormugao DySP Gurudas Kadam.
