Missing car traced, 1 held
MAPUSA: A 41-year-old native of Chennai was arrested on charges of failing to return a rented car from Anjuna on Monday.
According to the police, Sanjay Kalangutkar from Nerul complained that the accused, Narul Iqbal, had rented his car (GA-03-P-5295) worth Rs 11 lakh on January 6, but he had failed to return it and fled with the car.
During investigation, the police learnt that the accused was in Satarda-Maharashtra. Acting swiftly, a police team went to Sattarda and arrested the accused. Police also recovered the missing car. Police is investigating the case.
