People from different walks of life and politicians cutting across party lines visited the minister’s residence at Mangor Hill, Vasco, to pay their last respects to the departed soul.
“Though I did not know much about Vishwanath, I have come to offer my condolences to the bereaved family as I have known Rajendra Arlekar throughout his political career,” said GPCC President Luizinho Faleiro.
RSS member Subash Bhobe recalled that Vishwanath was instrumental in bringing RSS to Vasco and contributed in the strengthening of the organization.
Prominent citizen and businessman Paresh Joshi recollected the contributions of Vishwanath to the business fraternity in the port town.
“Dada Arlekar, was always in the forefront in addressing problems faced by
the market vendors,” said Joshi
reminded.
