Murmuse GPS to get new premise
PERNEM: Chief Minister Laxmikant Parsekar on Monday assured to construct a new building for Government Primary School, Murmuse-Tuvem, Pernem.
Parsekar was speaking to reporters after inspecting the land to construct a new building.
The classes of the primary school at Murmuse are being conducted in residential quarters of Tuvem Community Health Center and more than 40 students are studying in the school. The Parents and Teachers Association (PTA) of the school had been demanding a new building for the school since last many years. Former MLA Dayanand Sopte had also raised the issue in the Assembly session and the then chief minister Digambar Kamat had assured to build a building for the school.
