Navelim swab testing centre to be shifted

The present swab testing centre from the Navelim Primary Health Centre will be shifted to Rosary Sports Complex from Monday (May 10).

Villagers of Navelim have been requested to visit the new testing centre and co-operate for its smooth functioning.

Navelim MLA Luizinho Faleiro had approached South Goa district Collector Ruchika Katyal with a plea to streamline the functioning of the swab collection centre by deploying additional manpower.

Though the Director of Health Services Dr Jose D’Sa had approved the proposal to deploy additional manpower, including nurses, there was a delay in the functioning of the new centre.
