Censuring the government’s fixation to restart schools in Goa amid rising Covid cases, the Nationalist Congress Party on Saturday said that the BJP-led government should be held responsible if any student gets infected with coronavirus. “This BJP-led government has failed to arrest the rising trend of Covid-19 cases in the State. More than 10 people die daily on an average. Covid centres and government hospitals have run out of beds. Can this government guarantee protection of our school children from the infection?” asked Sanjay Barde, General Secretary of NCP State unit while addressing the media in Mapusa.
