A new committee has been elected for the Goa Branch of Institution Of Valuers (IOV) for 2022-2024 and has already taken charge of the affairs of Goa branch.
The office bearers are Shashank Shirwaikar (chairman), P M Pai and Vincent Gracias (vice chairmen), Allvin Facho (honorary secretary) and Lloyd Macedo (treasurer).
During the bi-monthly meeting of the members in Margao on Friday, the IOV-Goa Chairman Shashank Shirwaikar unveiled his vision for the branch during his term.
Eminent member of Goa Branch Mahendra S Kakule was felicitated for being the first Goan Valuer to write a book on valuation.
Shashank Shirwaikar also spoke on various methods for valuation of publicly listed companies.
Allvin Facho briefed about the activities of the branch, while Lloyd Macedo later proposed the vote of thanks.
