Power Minister Pandurang Madkaikar said that LED lights were yet to be installed in some areas in Aldona constituency and the same would be done by August 15.
Madkaikar informed that those areas yet to receive LED lights were Calizor, Povacao, Sataporio, Bombardem, Raia, Caturlim, Novaportugal and Pirazona In Moira panchayat and Khaprebhat, Vaiguinwada, Bomanvado and Panarim in Nachinola panchayat.
The power minister was replying to a question put up by Aldona MLA, Glenn Ticlo in the ongoing assembly session.
However, the minister said all installation of lights will be completed by Aug 15.
The minister further informed that the LED fixtures were of M/s Inlet Lighting Solutions Ltd make and the power of the bulbs varied from 13.5W to 28.7W 52W, 125.7W and 214E.
He said the manufacture date of the bulbs was of 2016-17 and it came with a warranty of 10 years.
