Transport Department has launched an online service aimed at providing citizens with a platform to apply online for five schemes.
These schemes include Goa State Fuel Subsidy to Private Stage Carriage Operators, Goa State Interim Compensation to Road Accident Victims, the Goa State Public Transport Insurance Contribution Scheme, Goa State Subsidy for replacement of old passenger buses Scheme and Goa State Subsidy for Yellow-Black Motorcycle, autos and taxis Scheme.
Those interested can now visit goaonline.gov.in and register themselves to avail benefits of the new facility.
Required documents can be uploaded online along and upon successful submission, applicant will be sent an acknowledgment number via SMS and email.
Applicants will be able to download eSigned sanction order copy once approved by the department.
As a result, registered transport vehicle owners need not visit the departments to
submit the scheme application form.
