Now with the assembly elections over and people awaiting election results, many people aspiring to become panchas have started preparing for Panchayat elections which are likely to be held somewhere in April-May.
The State Election Commission has already written a letter to the government that tenure of 188 panchyats out of 191 panchyats in the state is ending in May 2022 and election has to conducted in this Panchayats.
The delimitation work for this Panchayats have already started by the SEC and once SEC submits report to the government, the government has to give approval for the dates of the election.
The results of the assembly elections will come on March 10 after the new government will decide about the Panchayat elections.
