National Students Union of India (NSUI) on Friday has demanded that all third-year examination of degree and diploma courses should be cancelled.
Goa University has announced that offline examinations scheduled to be held for final year postgraduate students, pursuing programmes will be held in July.
NSUI has threatened to protest on the streets if exams are not cancelled. NSUI has already started an online protest against the conduction of exams.
NSUI has written to Goa University to cancel the UG and PG final year exams.
"Chief Minister Pramod Sawant had said that cancellation of SSC and HSSCE examination was taken taking into consideration health of the students. If health is criteria then why the government is risking the life of third-year students", asked Ahraz Mulla NSUI Goa President.
Mulla asked why there is discrimination between the SSC and third-year student.
