A 22-year-old youth from Tishem-Borim died in a road accident along the bypass road at Baythokhol-Borim late Sunday evening.
According to Ponda Police, Sadanand Naik was proceeding on his motorcycle (GA-05-E-6037) towards Bethora, when he was knocked down by a van (GA-09-A-0459). He was rushed to Sub District Hospital, where he was declared dead.
Sources informed that the impact of the accident was such that the motorcycle was fully damaged.
Ponda Police is further investigating the case.
