One dies in Cunchelim accident
MAPUSA: A 46-year-old man died while two others were injured in a road mishap at Cunchelim-Mapusa on Thursday evening.
Two scooters travelling in the opposite direction had a head-on collision near the Sai Baba temple in Cunchelim at around 5 pm, Mapusa police said.
The deceased, Pramod Kashyap, riding pillion on one of the scooters, was thrown in the air with the impact and landed on the road and suffered serious head injuries, police further informed.
The riders of both the scooters, Akash Naik and Dharesh Yadav, were also injured in the mishap and have been admitted at the North Goa District Hospital (Asilo) Mapusa. PSI Prashant Bhagat is investigating the case.
