One dies in Nagoa accident

CORTALIM: A 32-year-old man died in a road accident near Maharaja Hotel at Nagoa-Salcete on Monday. One person has been arrested in this connection.

According to Verna Police, Anand Singh Chauhan died after the rickshaw in which he was travelling was hit by a trailer.

The body has been preserved in the hospital mortuary for post-mortem and other formalities.

The police arrested the rickshaw driver Mahesh Malagi from Margao, but a native of Kholapur, and registered an offence. Police is investigating the case.
