One held for kidnapping minor girl

Panaji police on Monday arrested one Kala Jafarsab (32), A native of Dharwad, and rescued a minor girl in a case of kidnapping. The complaint in this regards was registered by the brother of the victim girl on June 11.
In his complaint the brother had stated that the accused had lured his sister and had kidnapped her from his legal guardianship.
Both the accused and the victim were traced in Margao on Monday evening.
Police informed that the victim and the accused were known to each other.
Kala Jafarsab has been arrested and various Sections have been slapped against him.
A team of Panaji police is investigating the case further.
