Anjuna police arrested a 59-year-old man for damaging a rent-a-cab used by two female tourists.
The incident took place on Sunday near SFX school in Siolim.
According to Priti Shetty of Bangalore, she along with her friend were travelling towards Morjim in a rented cab from Anjuna to Siolim.
Police said that while the duo were on their way, a stone from their car tyre unfortunately struck a two-wheeler rider. The rider chased their car till Siolim.
When the car stopped the rider allegedly misbehaved with the tourist girls over the incident and further broke a glass pane of the car with a stone and fled from the spot.
Following the complaint, Anjuna police registered an offence under Section 151 of CrPC and arrested accused Soma Chodankar (59) resident of Chapora.
Anjuna police is investigating further.
