Outrage over porn clip shot at Chapoli Dam, complaint filed

CANACONA
A one-minute porn video shot at Chapoli Dam in Shristhal-Canacona has gone viral on social media, sparking off outrage and a police complaint has been filed in the matter.

The porn video clip features a model posing partially or fully nude in various poses at the pathway and the Dam's Head Regulator.

While the incident has angered a number of people, Samrat Bhagat of Char-Rasta in Canacona filed a complaint with Canacona Police against unknown person/s involved in the clip.

“The shooting of the video at the sacred place, which we believe is our Mallikarjun Dev, has hurt the beliefs and sentiments of the local community to a large extent,” said Bhagat, while demanding investigation of the matter and booking those involved in this mischief under suitable sections of IPC.

“The area beyond the gate of the Chapoli Dam is a restricted area and enquiries with relevant authorities revealed that no one has sought any permission, nor have they have granted any permission to any person or group to do a video shoot in this restricted area,” he added.

Bhagat also submitted the objectionable video clip on a CD for police reference.

“On the basis of the Head Regulator and the road on the dam depicted in the video, it looks obvious and beyond any doubt to viewers that the video is shot at Chapoli Dam.”

Bhagat stated that if his complaint did not fall within the purview of the local police station, the police inspector should forward it to the relevant office in the police department.

Copies of the complaint have also forwarded to Chief Minister Pramod Sawant, Dy Speaker Isidore Fernandes, DGP Goa, Chief Secretary, SP (South) and Canacona deputy collector.
