According to the officials of the transport department, there were many complaints regarding negligent riding at Valpoi. Many minors were also found riding two-wheelers. "Many riders were imposed fines and there will be regular surprise visits at Valpoi," said an official.
Meanwhile, prominent citizens of Valpoi have welcomed the action from the transport officials at Valpoi and said the officials should regularly initiate such action to curtail the number of minors riding two-wheelers.
