“We have not appointed Kuncalienker as consultant. Our architect is Gerard da Cunha. Kuncalienker must have been appointed by him (da Cunha),” Noronha said.
He further took pains to explain that the project was conceived two years back and Kuncalienker must have been appointed as the consultant before he became a MLA.

When contacted, Architect, Gerard da Cunha said that Kuncalienker had been working with him for several years.
“For many years Kuncalienker has been in the panel of my works. Whenever I take projects even outside Goa he has been our consultant,” da Cunha said.
