After the gram sabha members raised the condition of the roads at the meeting held on Sunday last, wherein they demanded restoration of the roads before the Fama of Menino Jesus scheduled on October 18, Colva Sarpanch Johnson Coelho said the Panchayat would again write a letter to the PWD, Sewerage Corporation and the Benaulim MLA Churchill Alemao to get the damaged roads restored at least before the Fama of Infant Jesus.
“The contractor had planned to start the repair work, but the rains have again come in the way. The Panchayat will write a letter to the MLA as well as the Sewerage Corporation to restore the roads,” Coelho added.
