grassroot level,” Arlekar said. “They have asked all panchayats to come up with a gram panchayat development plan and based on this plan funds will be distributed to them,” Arlekar said. He said each panchayat could be eligible for `2.5 crore over five years over and above the funds they are expected to get under the Swachata Abhiyan Scheme, other infrastructure grants and funds for digitization under the e-governance scheme.
