Q: What does AAP offer to Goa that other political parties cannot?
Kejriwal: AAP offers clean politics and corruption-free governance. The BJP and Congress today are like a couple and together, they indulge in corruption. There is no hope for clean governance from both these parties. It is only the Aam Aadmi Party which has not only promised, but has now has demonstrated in Delhi that it is the only party which can provide clean politics and clean governance.
AAP is the party of local people, so the Goa Aam Aadmi party belongs to Goans and it will take all stakeholders into confidence to preserve the
tradition and culture of Goa.
Q: Some critics say AAP is a one-man show while others say it is managed from Delhi, similar to a high command of other parties. What makes AAP different and why?
Kejriwal: As I have emphasised on clean governance, this criticism is by Opposition parties because they don’t have any issues. They don’t counter what we are saying so, let them say whatever they want. There is no high command and it is the local people who take decisions everywhere. We would like to answer questions which are in the minds of people and resolve their problems, and not questions raised by BJP and Congress.
Q: With a number of regional players in Goa all trying to oust BJP and Congress, where does AAP stand? Will it be another regional player and join hands with them or does it want to contest on its own?
Kejriwal: AAP will contest the forthcoming assembly polls in Goa on its own. It is the people of Goa who will fight elections. We neither have money nor do we have the resources. This election will be basically a movement and people will donate money, people will donate time, people will go and vote for the AAP movement.
Q: There is a lot of speculation about a new AAP president for Goa. Have you appointed any one and who is the person? What will that person bring into the AAP?
Kejriwal: I am not aware of any such thing and we have not appointed any president so far, but it will be done in due course of time.
