Given that a huge number of parents were forced to stand in a serpentine queue just to get an admission for swimming at the pool, citizens slammed the sports administrators for their failure to put a system in place for admissions.
A citizen of Aquem Cedric D’Costa criticized the sports officials for getting parents to stand in a queue when they could have worked out a better system for the benefit of the students.
Secretary Swimming Association of Goa, Sudesh Nagvenkar echoed similar sentiments. He said that the SAG could have worked out a better system to stop parents from standing in a queue for hours together.
“We had in the past suggested a solution to prevent a rush of parents to get admissions for their wards in the swimming classes. But, it appears that no one is interested in putting a system in place”, he added.
