Raufkhan Pathan, a Physical Education teacher of Radhakrishna High School, Bicholim and first officer of 1 Goa Battalion NCC Panaji, was recently conferred with NCC DDG commendation award by deputy director general and Goa Directorate at Bengaluru.
The award has been given to Pathan for rendering service of very high order for past 15 years, thereby winning laurels of Karnataka and Goa state for exceptional devotion to duty and for setting example for others in the NCC organisation.
The certificate, which has been signed by C Rajeev, Air Cmde DY DG NCC (K&G), was presented to him by Colonel Nand Kishor, Commanding officer of Goa Battalion NCC Panaji at Bengaluru.
Pathan is actively involved in creating social awareness on different issues relating to the society.
In 2010, Pathan received prestigious CM’s commendation award for his dedicated and committed services to the organisation.
The management, headmistress, staff, parents and students of Radhakrishna High School have complimented Pathan for the outstanding achievement.
