PERNEM DEATH TOLL @ 3, CASES CROSS 400 MARK

Two persons died from Covid and 19 new positive cases were detected as Covid cases crossed the 400 mark in Pernem taluka on Tuesday.

The death toll from Covid rose to 3 in Pernem after a 52-year-old man with co-morbid conditions died on Monday, while a 72-year-old man, also with co-morbid conditions, died on Tuesday. Both had been admitted at the GMC hospital.

According to sources, the 72-year-old man from Parcem was ill and was undergoing treatment at GMC. He passed away and his test later revealed that he had tested Covid positive. Both of his sons have home quarantined themselves.
