Pernem police conducted a surprise combing operation in all areas of Arambol beach on Tuesday evening to check for migrants and foreigners residing illegally in the area.
Pernem Police Inspector Jivba Dalvi said the combing operation was conducted to check for migrants and foreigners staying illegally. The police also cautioned all persons renting out their premises.
“Similar combing operations will be carried out in other coastal areas of Pernem taluka to maintain law and order,” said PI Dalvi.
