Pernem to get relief from power issues in phases

Pernem MLA Pravin Arlekar has stated that power issues in Pernem constituency will be resolved in phases.  

“The underground cabling will soon be undertaken,” said MLA Pravin Arlekar, while inaugurating a new transformer constructed at the cost of Rs 17 lakh at Gadekar Bhatle in Pernem.  

Arlekar further stated that roads which do not have street lights would also be illuminated in phases.  

He appealed the locals to cooperate in carrying out developmental works, since land will be required as for constructing new transformers and also while widening the roads and installing electricity poles.  

Pernem Municipal Council Chairperson Siddhesh Pednekar also appealed to locals to cooperate with the MLA to carry on developmental works like roads, electricity, water, etc.
