VASCO
“Somebody booked the Vasco Railway station dormitory on my name and stayed there between January 11 and 13 and the copy of the booking is with one person on his mobile phone,” said Sardana while speaking to media at JMFC Court Vasco.
“During these days, I was staying at Konkan Railway station dormitory Margao and I am in possession of the receipt of the dormitory,” added Sardana.
“The person who stayed at Vasco had booked his ticket from Visakhapatnam to Goa,” he said.
“Some one stayed on my name to entrap me and this is the ground to suspect me as a terrorist and the whole exercise is baseless. The ATS hasn\'t investigated the case properly, as all the cameras at Vasco Railway station are dead and no body knows who goes in and who goes out.”
Sardana further said due to the incompetency and negligence of the Goa Police and ATS, they picked him up for no rhyme or reason.
“It is surprising that Goa Police and ATS do not know how to read the bank statement and the bank balance is in Vietnam Domg and they termed as Rs 9 crore in my account,” said Sardana.
“Somebody is trying to fix me for whatever reasons best known to them and as I don\'t have any ID proof, hotels and guest houses do not allow me to stay in their hotels and guest houses,” he said.
“My laptop and emails do not have any password and as the incompetent ATS have no valid reason to detain me, they are now saying that my messages and laptop is locked with password,” added Sardana.
“When I was on foreign trips, my 81-year-old cancer patient father had requested me to come back to India and after coming back to India I started working for big companies and whenever I was called to Mumbai, I used stay either at dormitories at Mumbai or at Pune and at times in Goa and on this basis the Goa Police suspected and arrested me,” added Sardana.
“When I was in Vasco, I used to go for walk at Baina beach and walk back. I don’t have to spy upon IOC, as I know the company details as I worked as company consultant,” he said.
When asked whether he will file any defamation suit against Goa Police and ATS, Sardana said he will first speak to his father and accordingly initiate necessary action.
