CCP corporator Bento Lorena on Wednesday filed a complaint at Panaji Police Station against Health Minister Vishwajit Rane and owner of Scoop Oxygen Sanjiv Naik alleging criminal conspiracy and culpable homicide not amounting to murder.
Scoop Oxygen is a company that exclusively supplies oxygen at Goa's Covid hospitals.
In her complaint, the corporator claimed that Rane "hand-picked Scoop as sole supplier of oxygen to GMC" and with Scoop supplying half-filled or empty cylinders in the oxygen trolleys, several Covid patients lost their lives.
