3 boxes of Covishield vaccines arrive in Goa

Three boxes of Covishield vaccines arrived in the State on Wednesday.

In a tweet, Goa Airport stated that airport workers handled the 3-box consignment of vaccines for Goa in the shortest time.

According to details, each box contains 1,200 vials of 10 doses each, indicating that the three consignments would have about 36,000 doses of the Covishield vaccine.

Meanwhile, 3,204 flights operated from the Dabolim airport in April, in comparison with 4,356 flights in March.

“3.2K flights took to the skies from Goa in April’21, complying with the guidelines laid down by the Government of India. AAI Airports are observing strict regulations amid the pandemic to ensure passenger and staff safety,” stated a tweet by the Airports Authority of India (AAI).
