Plans for pediatric ICU at super-specialty block

Health Minister Vishwajit Rane also disclosed the department’s plans to start an ICU for pediatrics in the GMC super-specialty block for patients up to 18 years of age. Health Minister held a meeting with Heads of Departments of GMC for their inputs to further improve the treatment protocols, infrastructure, dealing with cases of black fungus and steps to be taken to ensure appropriate treatment.

Pvt hospitals to treat critical Covid patients

PANAJI: Health Minister Vishwaji Rane said private hospitals will now be admitting critical Covid patients along with mild and moderate cases. “Denial of admission will lead to strict action against the hospital,” he reiterated.
