The Agassaim police assisted by Old Goa firemen conducted a combing operation of the area in Azossim where a man Anil Kuttikar who had gone for fishing, went missing since a fortnight.
The operation included combing the area with boat, canoes, and drone surveillance since Thursday morning.
Sources informed The Goan that the operation to trace the man has been going for five days, but has not yielded any result.
Throwing light on the incident, the sources informed that Kuttikar along with another person had gone for fishing in the shallow waters at Azossim on July 4 but Kuttikar went missing.
However, the missing report was filed only after five days at the Agassaim police station.
"This delay in filing the missing report has made it difficult to trace the missing person," a police informed.
