Pradeep bags Nati Kala Ratna award
PANAJI: Pradeep Anand Naik, a resident of Carambolim, Tiswadi, who has acted in tiatr, Marathi, Hindi, Konkani and English dramas and in various films, has been selected for this year’s 'National Kala Ratna Award' in the field of art of Shikshak Vikas Parishad. The felicitation will be held in November at Sangli, Maharashtra.
Shikshak Vikas Parishad is established by state and national award winner teachers. Teachers from other states are also members of this Parishad.
Pradeep began acting at the age of 5, and has acted in programmes on All India Radio & Doordarshan. He has acted in Marathi, Konkani, Hindi 0ne-act plays and dramas also tiatr and films. He has also written and published a short essay book titled 'Pairchich Gazal.' He has also won awards like All India Marathi Natya Parishad, Mumbai, Gulab award. Pradeep is currently employed at Directorate of Art & Culture and helps young talent in the field of art.
