Prayer service for the sick at Sancoale
PANAJI: A Mass with the breaking of the Word of God and special prayers for the sick will be held at the Sanctuary of St Joseph Vaz, Sancoale, on June 10. The prayer service will begin at 7.45 am followed by Mass at 9 am. It will end by 11.30 am. The prayer service for the sick is conducted on every second Friday of the month. Friday Masses are as follows: 7 am and 8.45 am at the Sanctuary and 4 pm at the Oratory Room of St Joseph Vaz. Sick are prayed over on first, third and fourth Friday of every month from 10 am to 12 noon. Childless couples, pregnant mothers and children are prayed over on every third Sunday of the month after 9 am. Sunday masses are at 7 am and 9 am and weekday mass at 7 am. Priests are available at the Sanctuary on every Wednesday for Confessions and Spiritual guidance (counselling) from 9 am to 12 noon.
