Prizes gives at Valpoi school
VALPOI
The annual prize distribution function of Our Lady of Fatima Convent Primary School, Valpoi, was organised in the school premises.
Valpoi Municipal Council (VMC) Chairperson Ramdas Shirodkar, while speaking as the chief guest, said parents should encourage children at a young age. “Proper guidance of teachers and encouragement from parents will mould a child into a good citizen,” said Shirodkar.
Earlier, he gave away the prizes to the students from Nursery to Std 4.
As part of the function, the life of Msgr Herculano Gonsalves, Founder of the Congregation of Handmaids of Christ, was highlighted.
Principal Sr Annette welcomed and read the school report.
