Footwear shop owned by Boots was engulfed by a major fire in the wee hours of Tuesday.
The incident had come to light around 3.30 in the morning, destroying property worth lakhs of rupees.
While the cause of the fire incident is being ascertained, the owner has suspected short circuit as the cause behind the fire.
Owner Vikas Kedelkar said the loss on account of the fire incident is being ascertained.
Investigations are underway.
