Protests over sand mining on Feb 11
PERNEM: Residents of Ugvem-Pernem have decided to protest at the government offices in Pernem on February 11, in a bid to demand strict action against the illegal sand extraction in Tiracol river.
The residents will protest at the offices of Pernem deputy collector, Pernem mamlatdar, Pernem Police and other offices and a memorandum will be submitted to authorities concerned.
