Jubel Martins, who was arrested by the Colva police in connection with the murder of her 80-year old father, Trinidade Martins at Varca has been remanded to seven days police custody.
The Colva Police, however, could not unravel the mystery surrounding Trinidade’s murder as the men-in-uniform are yet to establish the motive behind the cold blooded murder.
Colva Police station in-charge, PI Melson Colaco informed that accused Jubel Martins has been remanded to seven days police custody for the purpose of investigations in the case.
Sources informed that Jubel had been reportedly not cooperating with the investigations till date. The police, however, are not expected to subject her to intense interrogations during her period in police custody.
While many suspected that the motive behind the gruesome murder of Trinidade is linked to property, the police is yet to establish the exact motive behind the murder. The police is investigating.
