Rs 663.63 cr to boost water supply


OLD GOA

To improve water supply, Rs 663.63 crore have been allotted under Annual Action Plan so that daily water supply of 100 LPCD could be provided in rural areas and 150 LPCD in urban areas.

Further, under the Cluster Development Fund the government has obtained Rs 367 crore from SIDBI for expansion of 100 MLD water treatment plant at Selaulim.

Proposals have also been mooted for completion of 15 MLD WTP at Morle-Sattari and 5 MLD at Gawane-Canacona, and also implementation of 15 MLD plant at Pilar.
