While the there is criticism all across the world over the attack by Russia on Ukraine, the Russians in Goa have something else to say.
"I don't personally support war but I think our president is doing his best. We wish him to go till the end in destroying fascism," said Kornell Janna who is a film producer by profession.
"From India we just expect understanding and support in not judging Russia and its actions. Be wise and know the truth before making comments about what's going on," she said adding that We want India to wait and not jump into global criticism against Russia.
"In Ukraine, it's not a war. It's a rescue operation by the Russian army. It's like me protecting the planet from pollution in whatever way I can,"said Pavel Bloyongov, a Russian Working For Environment Protection in Goa.
"It's the freeing Ukraine from Nazis," he said.
Venediktova-Kumar Anna, a philosopher said that Russia is liberating Ukraine as it is presently occupied by fascist forces.
"I'm expecting from India support for Russia against this anti-fascist movement," she said.
Artist Vedma Reka said that Russian government should free Ukraine as soon as possible from a Nazi rule as the population of Ukraine has suffered enough.
"I'm sure that Ukraine suffered enough from yoke of the Nazis and Russia must get rid their brotherhood nation of them as soon as they started to brutalize the population of Ukraine," she said.
"I'm expecting that India will continue our close friendship and cooperation," she added.
