Political activity in the Sancoale Panchayat intensified on Tuesday as six panch members met the Block Development Officer (BDO), urging an early special meeting to decide the no-confidence motion against the Sarpanch and Deputy Sarpanch.
Led by Panch Tulshidas Naik, the group sought clarity on the next steps after submitting the motion a few days ago. They said they are awaiting official communication on the meeting date as per procedure.
Naik told reporters that all members are united and want the process completed quickly, adding there is no pressure from political leaders or government departments.
The BDO assured them that formalities are underway and the meeting date will be announced soon, raising hopes of a timely resolution.
