Sanquelim school tops quiz
PANAJI: An inter-school quiz was organized by Our Lady of Grace HS Bicholim in collaboration with the Parent Teacher Association, in the Parish hall and 18 schools participated.
After the preliminary test the top six schools qualified for the finals, where they had to answer a
wide range of questions related to current affairs, science and technology, art and literature, general knowledge, audio-visual round and rapid fire rounds.
St John of the Cross HS Sanquelim emerged the winners followed by St Ann HS Tivim and Shri Shantadurga HS Bicholim in second and third places respectively.
Kashinath Fogueri, ex-teacher of the institution was the chief guest. The quiz was co-ordinated by assistant HM, Sandra Cardozo, PTA members Raziya Shaikh and Siya Kotkar. Headmaster Martin Rodrigues guided while Zasca Fernandes and Violet Pires were the quizmasters. The quiz was anchored by Sunita Mendes.
