Shree Shree Shree Satguru Bhaumaharaji, Revered Spiritual guide and Humanitarian who has devoted his life to uplifting humanity through his spiritual teachings, compassion and selfless service has been conferred upon the degree of Doctor of Letters (D. Litt.) Degree on March 25 by Boston Imperial University at Delaware USA in Humanity and Sanatan Dharma.

The Ceremonial Citation for Conferral of Honorary Doctorate was held on April 4 in Goa. Minister for PWD Digamber Kamat also graced the occasion.

Shree Shree Satguru Bhaumaharaji addressed the occasion- "This honour is not mine alone”it belongs to humanity, to all of mankind.

We must learn to set aside our ego. Only when we rise above ego can we truly do good deeds and achieve great things.

We come into this world alone, and we leave it alone. We bring nothing with us at birth, and we take nothing with us when we depart. This reminds us of what truly matters in life.

Today, we see wars and destruction around us. Such destruction is neither necessary nor justified. It may take only days or weeks to destroy, but rebuilding takes years and years of effort. That is why peace is so important.

There must be world peace. For many years, our ashram has been conducting programs dedicated to this cause, working towards harmony and unity.

But world peace does not begin outside”it begins within. When there is peace within us, it naturally extends outward. We begin to seek peace in our surroundings, in our society, in our towns and cities, in our country, and ultimately, across the world.

The journey to world peace starts with inner peace. When inner peace is established, true and lasting peace can be created everywhere. Let us all work together towards this goal.”
